Accuracy Disclaimer

The javascript math object methods used for this calculator are not accurate for very large or very small numbers. In particular, the trigonometric functions may yield very small answers that should actually be zero or very large answers that should be infinite. This typically occurs at 90� or pi/2 intervals.

Inscribed Angle Help

An inscribed angle is an angle formed by two chords that share a common point on the circle's circumference.

The measure of the intercepted arc (central angle) is twice the measure of the inscribed angle.

The central angle, ∠ N = 2 • ∠ B

The inscribed angle, ∠ B = ∠ N / 2

The central angle (N) is the angle formed by two radii (NA & NC) connecting the center of the circle to given points (A & C) on the circumference.
