The inputs above will be hidden when the program finally gets launched. Currently, I am not hiding them even when you close the calculator. The purpose of the inputs is to help in debugging. This allows you to enter simple code on the calculator screen but the program translates the input to javascript math. Give it a try and see if you notice any obvious problems or have suggestions for improvements.
Congruent Triangle Labeling Help

When labeling triangles, convention has it that all the vertices are labeled with capital letters and all the sides are labeled with lower case letters.

Not just any lower case letters but the lower case of the vertex opposite the side being labeled.

If two triangles are congruent, you not only have to maintain the convention for labeling triangles but you must also ensure that the labels are in the correct order.

The simplest way to do this is to mark the congruent sides and then label the vertices that share identical sides.

The original, blue triangle DEF has one hash mark on side f, two on side d and three on side e. The corresponding sides are similarly marked on triangle XYZ.

At this point triangle XYZ is not labeled yet. Now label the vertices that share identical sides.

The first letter in triangle DEF is D and it is located between the two sides that have one and three hash marks. Locate that position on the second triangle and label it the first letter of triangle XYZ, which is X.

The second letter in triangle DEF is E and it is located between the two sides that have one and two hash marks. Locate that position on the second triangle and label it the second letter of triangle XYZ, which is Y.

Since triangles only have three vertices, the third vertex of triangle XYZ is labeled Z.

Once the vertices are labeled, simply follow the convention for labeling the sides x, y and z.
